Points are tracked throughout the season, with the top three drivers in each series earning trophies at the year-end banquet. Only Little Kalamazoo Speedway members or associate members are eligible for certain standings, including Midwest Thunder events, where non-members may race but are excluded from LKS points and placements are adjusted among members.

Each series follows a set format, with the Friday series counting the best 5 of 6 races, the Saturday series counting the best 8 of 10, and the Combo Series requiring 7 of 8 races with the best 5 results counting. Drivers must compete in at least 50% of events, or a minimum of 8 races, and meet series requirements to qualify for championships or top-three trophies.

Race procedures help maintain fairness and safety, including the meatball flag which allows drivers to fix issues like a RACEceiver while keeping position if resolved, or receiving a strike and moving to the tail if not. The late-out rule follows Midwest Thunder and national guidelines, allowing drivers to rejoin if they are moving before the leader reaches the start/finish line on the “one to go” lap.

Additional regulations cover conduct and equipment, including a main field typically limited to 12 cars with adjustments based on class size and penalties for intentional cautions under USAC rules. Engine disqualifications cannot be used as a dropped race and may result in suspension, while Red Rookie drivers must run locked without dot violations unless advancing position, and all in-car cameras and fuel vent lines must meet proper safety and mounting requirements.
