POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:   THIS BOARD IS NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO RACE WEEKLY:

Co-PRESIDENT - General LKSQMC information, USAC and other clubs, community relations, and the LKSQMC Board & Race Day Officials

Co-VICE PRESIDENT - Race day opening/closing duties, committees, & mentor system

SECRETARY - Membership information, meeting agendas/minutes, website updates, track key distribution 

TREASURER - Finanical issues such as invoices, donations to LKSQMC, reimbursement forms, sign-ins & concession money balance total.

TRACK DIRECTOR - Track & facility maintenance and repairs, donations of materials or services, mandatory work detail

ROOKIE DIRECTOR - Rookie training, driver readiness to move to competitive class

CONCESSION STAND DIRECTOR - Concession stand food purchaser/coordinator, work detail, donations for special events & menu

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - Technical procedures and rules, engines, weights, oil, fueling

TOWER DIRECTOR - Registration, scoring, race results

SAFETY DIRECTOR - Chassis specifications, safety rules, safety inspections, fueling

PUBLICITY/MARKETING DIRECTOR - Community relations and promotion of LKSQMC, quarter midget racing, and our drivers


THERE IS PLENTY OF RACING DURING THE OFF SEASON.  THERE IS A ROOKIE TRAINING PROGRAM HELD IN COLUMBUS & WELL AS THE BEST INDOOR RACING FOR QUARTER MIDGETS.  THE INDOOR EVENT IS PUT ON BY THE BUCKEYE CLUB.  THE FLAGGER, RACE DIRECTOR AND SCORERS ARE ALL QUARTER MIDGET OFFICIALS.  THE INDOOR EVENT IS RUN EXACTLY THE SAME AS AN OUTDOOR EVENT.  PILL DRAW FOR STARTING POSTIONS, HEATS, LOWER MAINS & FEATURES.  IF YOU ARE THINKING OF GETTING STARTED THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO START WITHOUT WAITING UNTIL NEXT SPRING.  ALSO FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO LOSE SEAT TIME AND GET IN SOME GREAT RACING.  SIGN INS FOR ROOKIES 8:00AM-8:20AM.  CLASS ROOM BEGINS AT 8:30AM WITH ON TRACK TRAINING TO FOLLOW.  ALL OTHER RACERS SIGN-INS OPEN 8:20AM-9:00AM. WITH HEAT RACES BEGINNING IMMEDIALTELY AFTER ROOKIE TRAINING CONCLUDES.  FOR MORE INFO:  www.bqmra.com   JAN 10 & 24, FEB. 7 & 21.   next indoor race will have qualifing - track records are open.  Sr. Animal new min. weight is 270lbs. UT2160 without restrictor is allowed.
